Greet and assist customers and provide information regarding tours, recreational activities, and safety procedures. Monitor recreational and swimming areas to ensure the safety of guests and compliance with established rules and regulations. Observe activities to identify hazards, disturbances, or unsafe conditions and respond appropriately. Rescue distressed persons using approved rescue techniques and equipment. Administer first aid and CPR when necessary and contact emergency medical personnel in cases of serious injury. Warn guests of inclement weather, unsafe areas, and prohibited activities. Maintain records of weather conditions, incidents, and emergency responses. Instruct guests in swimming and recreational activities and provide safety information and guidance. Inspect recreational equipment and facilities for safety, cleanliness, and proper operation. Assist guests in the safe use of equipment, including life jackets. Participate in activity demonstrations and guest entertainment programs. Promote and sell optional tours and activities and distribute brochures and informational materials. Communicate with guests in foreign languages when needed. Assist Boat Captains with the preparation and operation of marine vessels, including docking, getting underway, and lagoon operations. Serve as liaison between Adventure Guides, Customer Service Specialists, Deckhands, Boat Mechanics, and Boat Captains. Remain knowledgeable of emergency procedures and evacuation protocols. Assist with staff training and supervision.
